I am an Associate Professor cum Head of Department in the Faculty of Allied and Healthcare Sciences with more than 13 years of experience in academics, clinical microbiology, diagnostic laboratory services, research, and administration. I have a strong background in the study of microorganisms, their diversity, characteristics, and their impact on human health. My core areas of expertise include Microbial Diversity, Phylogenetic Analysis, Clinical Microbiology, Pathogenic Microorganisms, Serology, Immunology, PCR/RT-PCR techniques, Molecular Diagnostics, and Bacteriology.

I have extensive experience in establishing and managing clinical and molecular diagnostic laboratories, implementing quality control and assurance systems, conducting outbreak investigations, and training healthcare professionals in infection control practices and biomedical waste management. As an academician and administrator, I am actively involved in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students, guiding research dissertations, curriculum planning, academic coordination, and departmental administration.
