Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Kumar is a distinguished academician and administrator with more than 16 years of experience in advancing professional education. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Moradabad Institute of Technology, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Prof. Kumar holds a Ph.D. and a D.Sc. (Post-Doctoral Degree) in Computer Science, along with a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Malaysia. He has further strengthened his expertise through professional certifications in Data Science and Machine Learning using Python and R from IIM Raipur, as well as advanced certifications from IBM and Google. A senior member of IEEE, he actively contributes to the IEEE Young Professional Committee and is also associated with ACM, the Computer Society of India (CSI), and SMIEEE.

His core research and academic expertise lie in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, e-Governance, and Networking. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to curriculum design, academic leadership, and high-impact training programs. He has also played a vital role in NAAC SSR preparations and has represented his institution at prominent international academic forums in London, Mauritius, Malaysia, and Dubai.

A passionate mentor, Prof. Kumar has successfully guided ten Ph.D. scholars, with four more currently pursuing their doctoral research under his supervision, and has also mentored five postdoctoral scholars from Malaysia. His outstanding mentorship has earned him the Best Project Supervisor Award on three occasions. Dedicated to fostering innovation, he has encouraged the development of numerous prototypes and contributed to the growth of a vibrant academic and research culture.

Prof. Kumar has designed and delivered specialized short-term programs on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, widely recognized for their practical orientation. His research portfolio includes 15 national and international patents and over 120 publications in reputed SCI, Scopus, and peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including IEEE and Springer. In addition, he serves as an editor, reviewer, and committee member for several leading international journals and conferences.

As an inspiring speaker, Prof. Kumar has delivered keynote addresses, lectures, and training sessions at national and international conferences, webinars, and faculty development programs. He has pioneered innovative teaching practices such as Activity-based Learning and Skill-based Learning through project-oriented systems, thereby fostering a student-centric and dynamic learning environment. His research interests encompass e-Governance, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Wireless Sensor Networks, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data. Beyond research, he has authored and co-authored books, edited volumes, book chapters, and copyrights, further strengthening his reputation as a prolific contributor to the global academic community.
