Ethic Code for Author
Authorship
- Authorship of research publication should be appropriately reflected in the Manuscript.
- In-case of multiple contributors, before submitting the manuscript, authorship right and acknowledgement should be agreed.
- Manuscript can be published by only one Author, name of other major contributor and less substantial / minor contributors can be mentioned in the Manuscript. This also should be agreed before submitting of Manuscript.
- Author Submitting the Manuscript should be the major contributor in the research work.
- All authors should agree and approve the submitted and accepted version of the manuscript.
- The author submitted the manuscript should coordinate with other authors and respond to the comments and feedback of editors and reviewer in the timely manner.
- Author submitting the manuscript will need to get the approval from other authors for accepting the changes and recommended by the editor or the reviewers.
- Any changes in the author list (Major contributor or Minor contributor) need to be approved by all authors.
- Author whose name is to be removed should agree for the removal of name along with other authors. This need to be coordinated by the Author submitting the manuscript.
- Author whose name is to be added should agree for the addition of name along with other authors. This need to be coordinated by the Author submitting the manuscript.
Originality
- The manuscript submitted for review and hence publication is the original work of the author.
- Work should not be submitted to any other publisher in any language once submitted with Samvakti Journals.
- Work submitted with other journals should not be submitted with Samvakti Journal for Editing / Peer-review or publication.
- The research is not published in part or full in the past in any mode of publication.
- If the current work is the expansion of the existing work, then it can be considered for publication. However the existing work should be properly acknowledged and referenced in the current work
- Applicable copyright laws and convention are followed. Appropriate permissions are taken if required in case other researchers work is being used along with citation.
- In case own Research Work is re-used, appropriate permission from relevant stakeholders like research funder, institute or owner of the research should be obtained.
- Any use of research result from other researchers or own research work should be properly referenced and acknowledged with appropriate citation. They should not be presented as their own work.
- Multiple publications arising from single research work should be clearly identified as such and the primary publication should be referenced.
- No data should have been fabricated or manipulated to support conclusion(s).
- Authors should inform incase the same study is done previous, with same or different result sets.
Responsibility
- Consent to submit the work has to be received explicitly from all co-authors, as well as from the responsible authorities - tacitly or explicitly - at the institute/organization where the work has been carried out, before the work is submitted.
- Co-ordination of getting the consent for making the changes to manuscript based on feedback from editor or Reviewer or typesetting expert need to be take by author submitting the manuscript.
- All authors and co-authors should befamiliar with the work submitting for editing / review and publication
- Authors should respond to editor / reviewers / Samvakti Journals personals to make changes to work when changes are requested.
- Incase additional information is required to validate the changes submitted, same should be promptly provided during or after the process of publications
- Authors should not share information of their research work with anyone else until manuscript is published.
Transparency, Limitation and Acknowledgement
- Author should share information about funding, sponsorship or any disclosures which may or may not impact the result of the research work.
- Role of Funder and sponsor during the work should be appropriately mentioned in Manuscript
- Information/data required by editor or reviewer during the course of publication process should be sent by Author. This could be in the form of raw data, samples, records, etc. Sensitive information in the form of confidential or proprietary data is excluded.
Responsible reporting
- Complete result should be presented. It should not hide any part of the result which may or may not support the authors or sponsors hypothesis or interpretation.
- The results are honestly presented and without any fabrication.
- Authors should bring to the notice of publisher / Editor / Reviewer or all any error or discrepancy found by author during or after the publication of work done by Author.
Misconduct
- If there is/are any or suspicion of misconduct, Journal would carry out the investigations. In-case the raised allegations are found true, author would be given the opportunity to address the allegation.
- If allegations are found true beyond doubt, action will be taken against the author and concerned/all published article may be removed from the site by the Journal Representative.
Use of Language
- Language used by author either in Manuscript or journals or during feedback should be professional and not hostile or inflammatory and from making libellous or derogatory personal comments or unfounded accusations
